Chicken Hor Fun
Chicken Hor Fun is a stew noodle dish using rice noodles called “Hor Fun” or Kuey tiaw. It is a very famous dish in Perak especially in Ipoh. Most of the old type chinese kopitiam will have this dish in the menu.
Nasi Ayam is a dish of poached or roasted chicken and seasoned rice. It was originated from Hainan province in southern China and and brought here by the early Chinese immigrant. Nasi ayam is “a culinary staple” and a popular street food in Ipoh which is the center of Hainanese immigration in Malaysia.
Roti Canai is a staple breakfast meal after nasi lemak. The roti is accompanied with dhal or curry gravy as the dipping.

Yong Tau Foo
Yong Tau Foo is a snack food that taste nice when eaten together with others. The dish is the mixture of fresh vegetables, tofu, quail eggs, flour based processed food and many more in one bowl and served with either the sweet sauce or soup.
Nasi lemak is a rice dish cooked with coconut milk and screw pine leaves accompanied by anchovies sambal, fried anchovies, fried peanuts, a boiled egg and slices of cucumber wrapped in a banana leaf.

Tau Foo Fah is a snack made with very soft tofu. It is originally a Chinese snack that has its origin dated back in the ancient China during the western Han Dynasty. However it is now enjoyed by all the races in Malaysia. Tau Foo fah is also referred to as tofu pudding and soybean pudding.
Nasi Ganja is actually a normal nasi kandar ayam merah that has a special place in the heart of the locals. It comprises of steamed rice and a variety of different curries (in Malay we call it “kuah banjir”) and side dishes on the same plate.The signature dish is usually accompanied with ayam merah, salted duck egg, boiled ladies fingers, sliced cucumbers and the chutney.
Dim sum is a small bite-sized portions Chinese cuisine served in small steamer baskets or on small plates. Dim sums traditionally are served as fully cooked, ready-to-serve dishes. The serving size is usually small and normally served in three to four pieces in one dish.
Chee Cheong Fun
Chee Cheong Fun or steamed rice roll is a popular breakfast dish among the Chinese community in Perak. The steamed rice rolls is made of rice flour, corn starch, water, and a bit of cooking oil and salt. Original Chee Cheong Fun is garnished with fried shallots and sesame seeds and served with soy sauce.
Curry Mee is a must eat dish in Perak. The combination of the mouthwatering broth, the chili pastes and the fresh vegetables ensure the delicious taste of the dish.
