Hear From Others
Left home, and headed to the first place, Janda Baik, miles away from the Berjaya Bukit Tinggi and Genting Highlands. Consider Janda Baik the foothill of everything especially for outsiders that drive through Karak Highway.
If Janda Baik was your home, you would wake up each morning surrounded by forest. In the distance, you’d hear the clear Sungai Benus rushing against cold rocks. In the distance, the Banjaran Titiwangsa spreads before your eyes, the great shadows veiled by mists. Often, you might see a flock of hornbills flying across the horizon.
Chamang Waterfall is a popular destination among Bentong residents especially for a weekend getaway. The majestic waterfall burst out from the mountains flow into a fast-moving river is a sight to see.
The Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary houses more than 20 orphaned elephants that were rescued from the forest areas where their habitat has been threatened either by farmers or poachers.
