Satay Celup is a very famous snack dish in Melaka. It has the similarity with lok-lok, which is a steam boat like skewered dish that comes with a variation of fresh seafood, squid balls, fish balls, crab balls, chicken fillets, chicken balls, quail eggs, wantan, sausages and many more. However, the dipping sauce used is the peanut sauce, which is the usual dipping for satay.
Unlike lok-lok, satay celup is eaten at any time of the day. One can control the spicy level of the sauce by adding the chilies according to their own taste.
