Cendol Gula Melaka
Cendol is a cold dessert mixed with creamy coconut milk and liquid brown sugar known as gula melaka. It got its name from the sweet green jelly that is used as the main ingredients.
The basic cendul is garnished with the green jelly, red beans, sweet corn and grass jelly. However, recently some hawkers even put glutinous rice, fermented tapioca, diced mango or even a piece of durian in the cendol.
For those who never try the chendol, it always the best to start with the basic cendol because nothing could go wrong with the original cendol.
