It’s name originated from ‘kijang’ which means deer in English. The waterfall is highly visible along the North-South Highway. Due to its sheer size and height, it is easily attracting the travelers to do a quick detour at the nearest exit. The place is suitable for camping, hiking, barbecuing and picnicking activities.

There are parking bays and food stalls run by the aborigines in the area. A small parking fee is charged for the vehicle. From the parking bays, it is only a short walk on the cement steps to reach the suspension bridge that leads you to the beginning of the main cascade. On both sides of the cascade, the visitors can climb further up till the top where the vertical fall is located. Other facilities include the toilets, the rest huts, tan Information stall and a prayer room.

Besides playing at the waterfall, the visitors may also visit an orchid garden and a bamboo park that are located at the bottom of the falls.
