Sanrio Hello Kitty Town
Sanrio Hello Kitty Town in Johor Bahru is the first Sanrio Hello Kitty theme park outside of Japan. The place is located on the first floor of the indoor Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park.
The town consists of the Kitty’s House, Hello Kitty Town, Wishful Studio, Friendship Land and Hello Kitty Black Wonder.
In Kitty’s House, the visitors will have the opportunity to see lots of decoration with Hello Kitty theme starting from the main entrance, to the living area, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.
In Hello Kitty Town, the visitors can play dress-up as the Kitty and her friends like My Melody or Batz Maru and take photos together. There’s also a stage for the visitors to watch a scheduled performance performed by Kitty and her friends.
In wishful Studio, the visitors can enjoy the activities such as cookie making and jewelry making. For cookies making activity, the visitors can decorate the Hello Kitty cookie with chocolate and colorful sprinkles while for jewelry making activity, the visitor can customize and choose a pendant to be put on the necklace or the bracelet.
In Friendship land, the highlight is the playground and the giant tea cups ride.
As for the Hello Kitty Black Wonder. It offers a game where the visitors will be tasked to complete a puzzle. They have to look for clues and piece the clues together to find the answer. The environment of the place is a bit dark to add to the thrill of the adventure.

To me, I find that the main attraction here is the Kitty’s House. As its name suggests, this is Hello Kitty’s house. It’s divided into six sections, and each of them is so beautifully decorated. I simply love the attention to details and exquisite design of the house.
Legoland Malaysia is the first Legoland theme park in Asia and it is also the sixth in the world . It was opened in 2012. It is located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. The park has over 70 interactive rides, shows and attractions.
Istana Bukit Serene is the royal palace and official residence of the Sultan of Johor, located in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The palace was built facing the Straits of Johor and completed in 1933.
Puteri Harbour is a popular waterfront area besides Danga bay in Johor Bahru. It is hailed as the Jewel of Iskandar Puteri. The award-winning harbour was specifically designed to bring world-class waterfront living in Malaysia. It is facing Straits of Johor and is part of Iskandar new growth area of Johor.
