Danga Bay
Danga Bay is Johor Bahru’s first and massive waterfront city. It stretches along a 35 kilometers scenic waterfront facing the Straits of Johor and covers an area of approximately 450-acre.
Danga Bay offers a lot of activities. It is equipped with high end retail outlets and malls, fine dining restaurants and the theme park. The visitors can rent bicycle and tricycle to explore Danga Bay area. It also offers attraction for children like the tram ride and the petting zoo. There are skateboarding park and remote control racing car circuit for people to play and an orchid garden for those who love the flower.
Danga Bay main attraction is Danga World Theme Park. This mini-theme park offers about 20 different rides like roller coaster, musical carousels, Merry-Go-Round and many more. There’s also a Danga river cruise available.
Danga Bay is also a famous romantic spot for couples. Danga Bay 8 for example is a fine dine restaurant located in a cruiser that sails throughout the straits of Johor. The cruise can accommodate up to 800 people. Many couples choose to have their wedding ceremony there.
Danga Bay also hosts various functions and events such as concert, fashion show and many more. A combination of leisure, retail, food and beverage, commercial, recreational and social amenities make Danga Bay a popular destination to visit.

Danga bay is an awesome area by the sea, sort of like our equivalent of East Coast Park, only better. You can find all sorts of recreational activities here, be it cycling, skateboarding, kite flying or even paintball! There are also restaurants, food centers, amusement parks, live bands, a shopping mall and bars!

It is relatively quiet on weekdays and while the crowd has somewhat dwindled a little, it is still an interesting place to bring your family along during the weekends at Danga Bay Marina & harbor and a small amusement park there.

Chinese Heritage Museum
Johor Chinese Heritage Museum is dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage of the Johor Bahru Chinese. The museum displays various collections of documents, porcelain ware, photos, old coins, musical instruments and other artifacts relating to the Chinese community.
Hutan Bandar MBJB
Hutan Bandar is located between Jalan Tasek Utara Road and Jalan Yahya Awal, Johor Bahru. It covers an area of 50 acres and only about 1.5 km from the city center. The forest was developed by the Research and Consultancy Unit of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1987. The aim is to create a special recreation that integrates with the original element and minimize the tree cutting.

Since its inception in 2009, the Angry Birds game has garnered 2.5 billion downloads globally. Angry Birds is now coming to life at the Angry Birds Activity Park Johor Bahru. It is Southeast Asia’s first Angry Birds theme park. The indoor park is strategically located on the third floor of the new Komtar Johor Bahru City Centre (JBCC).
