Bukit Bintang is often depicted as the Golden Triangle in Kuala Lumpur.It is the most popular and trendiest shopping and entertainment district of Kuala Lumpur. This area is popular among tourists and locals, especially among the youths.

Bukit Bintang district encompasses Jalan Bukit Bintang, Jalan Bulan, Changkat, Jalan Alor, Jalan Imbi, Jalan raja Chulan and Jalan Walter Grenier.

The highlight of the area is Bintang Walk, which is Kuala Lumpur’s most prominent retail belt that offers sleek shopping centres, al-fresco cafés, hotels, bars, nightclubs, as well as hawker-type eateries.

Being the most popular shopping districts, Bukit Bintang offers major retail malls like Pavilion KLBerjaya Times SquareLow Yat Plaza, Sungei Wang Plaza and many more. Bukit Bintang also offers the ultimate one-stop centre named Low Yat Plaza for people to shop for electronic gadgets.

Also set within Bukit Bintang district is Jalan Alor, a stretch of atmospheric air-conditioned Chinese seafood restaurants and hawker stalls where you can enjoy an array of local delicacies by the roadside until the wee hours of morning.

Restaurants dedicated to Arabian gastronomy have been sprouting along the core of the Bintang Walk of late as a result of a recent general initiative to lure Arab tourists to this region.

Nightlife in Bukit Bintang is quite happening, particularly the Changkat Bukit Bintang area. Bukit Bintang offers a live music scene, a variety of nightclub and rooftop bars. Many major nightlife events also take place here such as the New Year’s countdown, Merdeka eve celebrations, street concerts and parties.

Bukit Bintang is accessible by Public Transportation. The nearest stations are Bukit Bintang Monorail Station, Bukit Bintang MRT Station and Hang Tuah LRT Stations.
