Titiwangsa Lake Garden

Titiwangsa Lake Garden is located in Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur. It  features a huge central lake which was a byproduct of tin mining activities that was later cleaned up and developed into a recreational park for the public. The lake garden spreads across an area of 95 hectares with a 57 hectares of lake in the middle.

This well maintained park has such a wide range of facilities like  jogging track, cycling track, kayaking, horse riding facility and radio control car racing track. In the morning, the lake garden is full of joggers and in the evening, the place is filled with families.

Since the terrain is flat and there are no cars to worry about, lots of people take the opportunity to along the cycling track. The cycling track is equipped with a mock street layout where children can learn about traffic signs, road markings and road safety.

The Coconut trees and banyans trees were planted to provide shade, while numerous fountains keep the lake water clean and healthy. The lake garden is also great place to photograph the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower and other famous landmarks..

As soon as i`m done with my coconut drink,i jog much further and found a horse stable where its part of the recreation activities at the lake.Horse riding and horse buggies are available for rides at a very minimal fare.


This particular tasik (lake) located north of KL provides picture-perfect sites and postcard-pretty areas. If you have enough time, you can leisurely walk around the span of the lake in more than two hours, providing you make curious stops at interesting sites.
